Rachel has been practicing law since 2004, and has represented clients in a variety of real estate, commercial and bankruptcy/insolvency matters. She has helped both individuals and businesses with real estate acquisitions and sales, evictions and other tenant matters, foreclosures and land contract forfeitures, condominium association, zoning, easement and land use issues, cottage and vacation home planning, leases, land contracts, and mortgages and other lien rights. Rachel also has experience analyzing, negotiating and drafting various corporate and commercial documents, including nondisclosure agreements, equipment leases, consulting and other service agreements, operating agreements, corporate bylaws, financing and loan documents, and other business contracts. She has represented secured and unsecured creditors, trustees, debtors and creditors’ committees in all sorts of bankruptcy matters, and assisted clients with out-of-court workout, receivership, assignment for the benefit of creditors, and other insolvency matters, including forbearance agreements and the settlement of debts, refinancing, winding down business operations, company and individual restructuring, and pursuing, preserving or contesting lien and other collection rights.
